Microscope Transformation:

In this lesson "Take A Closer Look" I have transformed a typical microscope lab into an interesting and motivating exercise that challenges and inspires my students to learn. Rather than filling in the blanks, my students follow the clues to move on to the next challenge. Students gain an understanding and appreciation for what they're looking at by actually creating slides. Lastly, I pique student interest by encouraging them to stump me, their teacher.
